¿Podría la joya dañar el
diente?
¡De ningún modo! El joya se fija sobre el esmalte. El quitar y poner sus
joyas han sido comparadas como la colocación y la remoción de los
aparatos de ortodoncia.
¿Por qué no puedo usar un diamante plano?
El diamante ha sido tallado en forma de cono con la finalidad de crear
la conocida "chispa". Colocamos el diamante sobre una base de oro, para
configurar una superficie plana en la parte posterior, con el fin de
poder fijarla en el diente. La alternativa sería perforar un orificio en
el diente, que es precisamente lo que queremos evitar. Los cristales
transparentes de la joyeria están fabricados de cristales roa y la parte
posterior plana se ha laminado con pan de oro, con el fin de crear una
"chispa" que imita a la del diamante.
¿Cuánto
tiempo se mantendrá en mi diente?
La Joya que se han puesto sobre tu (s) diente (s) verdadero (s),
siguiendo nuestras instrucciones permanecerán en tu diente (s) hasta que
decidas quitarlo (s).
¿Cómo se
puede quitar, o sustituir por un nuevo producto de diferente estilo?
Las joyas se quitan fácilmente. Después de quitarse la joya, no quedarán
señales visibles, y tu decides si quieres un nuevo estilo.
¿La joya
dificulta el cepillado de los dientes?
De ningún modo. Cuando Te pongas la joya desearás cepillarte los dientes
más a menudo, ya que la joya te hace fijarte más en tu sonrisa.
Si llevo
una joya, ¿podré seguir siendo atendido por mi dentista?
Por supuesto. Cualquier dentista podrá seguir limpiando tu dentadura. La
joya no dificulta la habilidad del dentista al tratar tu dentadura de
forma apropiada. El área situada debajo de la joya es sellada, lo que
impide el ataque de bacterias. El higienista pulirá la parte superior y
de alrededor de la joya, usando una herramienta suave.
¿Sentiré
que tengo una joya en mi diente?
La joya tienen un espesor de 0,5 mm. Seguramente sentirás la presencia
de algo extraño en tu diente los primeros días posteriores a su
colocación, pero muy pronto te acostumbrarás a ello.

What is a
jewerly?
Is a tiny piece of jewelry designed to be bonded to the tooth.
How is a jewerly attached?
The bonding procedure is similar to bonding an orthodontic bracket, which
leaves the tooth intact and allows an easy removal.
Why are there no plain diamonds?
The diamond is shaped like a cone in order to create the well known
sparkle. We set the diamond in gold to create a flat surface in the back
in order to attach it to the tooth. The alternative would be to drill a
hole in the tooth and that is what we want to avoid.
What makes the
crystals sparkle?
Jewerly crystals are made of glass and the flat back is surfaced with a
foil to create a diamondlike spark. The durability is inferior to the gold
and diamonds, due to the construction of the foil/glass. When bonding
crystals make sure the composite bonds the sides of the glass and not only
the foil to avoid separation of the glass from the foil.
How long will
the Jewerly stay on the tooth?
A Jewerly mounted according to our instructions on a natural tooth (will
not stick to porcelinecaps) will stay on until you decide to have it
removed.
Will the
jewerly harm the tooth?
No! The Jewerly is bonded to the enamel like an orthodontic bracket.
How do I remove a
Jewerly ?
Removal should be performed by a dental professional.
Approach removal same way as removing a bracket from a tooth.Polish off
all composite. Pumice and polish the tooth.
Will Jewerly
impede brushing?
No, the presence of the Jewerly will encourage brushing, since it brings
more attention to the smile.
Can the teeth
still be cleaned by a hygenist?
Yes. The Jewerly will not impede on the hygenists ability to clean the
teeth properly. The area underneath the Jewerly is sealed and will not be
open for any bacteria. If you need to polish around the Jewerly use a
softer point.
Can the
Jewerly be felt on the tooth?
Jewerly are only 0,5 mm thick. Usually it is felt couple of days after
application, but the patient soon get used to the feeling.
Is
it allowed to peform this procedure on a minor?
Tere are no restrictions but you should always obtain parental acceptance
before bonding a Jewerly on a minor.
